Looking for a job that is full of technical challenges, trouble-shooting and breakdown prevention? We service a wide variety of automated mechanical and electrical, commercial door equipment. This is a very diverse commercial / industrial field maintenance / engineering role.

The position involves a mix of breakdowns, routine maintenance, with some installation and “Standards” compliance reporting. The equipment ranges from Automatic Sliding Doors, Revolving Doors, Gates, Barrier arms, various Hydraulic closing systems and hardware, various types of Fire Doors, Access Controlled Electric Locking, Roller Grilles, Shutters and control equipment. This is suited to someone with both a Mechanical and Electrical skill base.
You will need the following attributes:
*Great communication skills (written and oral)
*A strong electro mechanical background
*Preferably with some Electrical registration
*Health and Safety conscious
*Ability to follow technical instruction
*Can take ownership and accountability for your work
*You are well presented- we provide a uniform
*You hold a current clean driver’s license
We envisage a successful applicant will be an experienced tradesman from either, HVAC, Appliance Technician, Automotive Electrician, Elevator Technician, Industrial Electrician and have meaningful experience and expertise in their trade and preferably a sound knowledge of Auckland.
Initially, the successful applicant will be trained and “buddied up" with one of our Service Engineers so to get your head around our specialist field, additional training is on-going. As you will already be a time served competent tradesman in your field, we are not expecting this initial training to get you going will be found to be too difficult.
Given the training we undertake, we need applicants to be able to commit to us for at least one year.
