Structural Designer & Estimator

Our Client is a wholly owned subsidiary company of one of New Zealand's pre-eminent Civil Construction Groups. They operate nationally and internationally in the design and construction of specialised ground retention and foundation solutions.

They seek to employ a NZ Chartered Structural (or Civil) Engineer for the design and pricing of conforming and alternative solutions. The successful applicant will join an existing versatile and progressive team as it continues to grow in an ever expanding market.

This permanent career position, reporting to the Commercial Manager, is predominantly Head Office based and requires that you contribute (in order of importance):

• Structural Design experience
• Ability to read and interpret Geotechnical reports
• Ability to liaise at all levels including client and site visits
• Estimating and (preferably NZ) commercial experience
• Geotechnical design experience
• Contract Documentation and Construction Management experience
• Willingness to be deployed on site when the need arises
