Finance & Administration Manager

We're a leading engineering and construction company operating across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, and we've been responsible for constructing some of the largest and most challenging civil projects in these areas. Our expertise includes the construction of bridges, roads, tunnels, mining infrastructure and ocean outfalls.

We are currently looking for Finance and Administration Manager to be responsible for our financial support services based in the Pacific Islands.

Reporting to the Project Manager, this role involves leading the control, maintenance and development of all accounting systems including the production of financial reports and all statutory financial requirements, while providing assistance and advice to managers and finance staff.

• A solid finance management background in the construction or similar industry
• Expert knowledge and application of accounting principles
• Advanced PC skills including MS Excel, Word, Workbench & SUN and familiarity with computer networks and communication systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven cash-flow management skills
• Strong leadership qualities with a real interest in developing staff to their potential
• Familiarity with insurance terminology and adequacy of cover
• The ability to prioritise work and manage time efficiently
