We are seeking an ambitious, motivated & innovative Transport Network Operations Engineer who can hit the ground running in this rewarding and challenging role.

You will have:

• A strong working knowledge of roading networks, and systems for managing them including NZTA processesProven extensive experience managing works and contractors, alongside the management of budgets
• 
  Engineering experience in a similar role, preferably in a Local Government Environment
• 
  A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a Bachelor of Engineering
• 
  Experience managing operational databases
• 
  A proven ability to think outside the square

This is a team leader role focussed on managing the operational contracts for road network maintenance, streetlights, reseals, and parking. It will suit a professional who has achieved Chartered Engineer status, and is ready to step into a people management role.
