Account Manager


Market Leader in Domestic Transport Salary 60-65K + Car + Comission Hamilton Region

Our client is the largest transport operator in New Zealand with a reputation second to none. They are looking to expand their business opportunities in Hamilton and are now on the hunt for an experienced Account Manager to join their ever growing team.

To be the successful candidate, you will have a proven track record in sales specifically within the transport industry, have a strong customer focus, strategic thinker who is able to work efficiently and use their initiative as well as have the determination and drive to succeed.

The role will involve 70% Account Management and 30% New Business, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities within the Hamilton Region and maintaining relationships with your existing clients.

The following skills & attributes are required -

  • Maintaining regular contact with existing business within the territory
  • The ability to build strong relationships
  • Assist in gathering data and information and always looking for new solutions to offer your clients
  • Develop, manage and grow revenue to meet revenue targets
  • Attend weekly sales calls and meetings as required
  • Rates, quotations and negotiations
  • Presenting clients with added value services, proposals and seal the deal !
