Our client based in Mt Wellington is after a temporary Purchasing officer to join their busy Finance Team. You would be reporting directly to the CFO carrying out a variety of tasks on the purchasing side. You would need to have some previous Purchasing experience and be available to start work now.

Duties Include:

• Help to investigate and identify new supply sources
• Work Closely with the CFO to implement improvements in the Purchasing department
• Monitor and evaluate suppliers' overall performance
• Liaise with all departments to establish future purchasing needs
• Undertake the purchase order process ensuing all orders are placed and confirmed to enable on-time deliveries.
• Manage forward order report and outstanding report on a daily basis
• Reconciling purchase orders with supplier invoices
• Other administration duties as required

To be successful in obtaining this temporary role you will need to have some purchasing experience, have Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills and have excellent communication skills.
