6 month contract opportunity, on a large upgrade project. Microsoft, Novell,
Linux, VMWare, Groupwise experience needed. Start asap, with excellent rates.



Due to a number of technology upgrade projects, my client is seeking a Platform
Engineer who can start immediately. This is a troubleshooting role, which will
involve managing 3rd level escalated calls, troubleshooting any upgrade issues,
ensuring operational infrastructure services meet reliability and performance
targets and deploying new versions of OS patches.

Technical skills needed for this role are:

Senior Microsoft, Novell and Linux administration experience
Strong experience working in a VMWare virtual environment
Experience with GroupWise, VMWare ESX, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Windows
2003 / 2008 Server, Novell/OES2, ArcServe, McAfee / Sophos antivirus.
Strong at troubleshooting server / infrastructure issues, OS patching and
performing regular administration tasks
