Mossops Honey have a position available at their factory near Tauriko. The position involves labeling and packing honey, processing orders plus miscellaneous factory work. The successful applicant needs to be friendly and honest, be a team player, a quick learner and energetic and have an eye for detail. Organisational skills would also be of great value with this job.

Mossop's Honey

Mossops is a family business that was established over 60 years ago by Ron, Neil’s father. Neil, at the tender age of 16 had several hundred beehives and became self-employed until 1975 when Ron offered him a partnership, this partnership was continued for several years until 1981, when Neil and Wendy bought Ron’s share and formed their own partnership.

Since then Neil and Wendy have improved and grown the business in all areas, increasing turnover 20-fold. Neil and Wendy’s goal is to keep Mossops honey a family owned business, to keep traditional methods to ensure the highest standard of honey is always produced and to keep the good old fashioned personal, friendly service.

Because we are involved in all aspects of honey production, we have control over the quality and flavour of our honey ‘From the hive to the Honey Pot’. We use traditional processing methods to bring our honeys to your table ensuring our honey is not over-heated, over-stirred or pastuerised maintaining the natural flavours and colours of the original honeys.

New Zealand honey is renowned world wide for its pure, natural qualities and its unique flavours and textures. We are no different, we produce 100% New Zealand honey and to the best of our knowledge GM Free. Because we are involved in all aspects of honey production, we have control over the quality and flavour of our honey ‘From Hive to the Honey Pot’.
