Human Resources Assistant

 

Flexi work hours (32-40 hours per week)

New Plymouth

Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of a vibrant HR Team? We are looking for someone with good computer and data entry skills, a positive attitude and a keen interest in HR. You will provide a full range of support services to the Human Resources function and be a key member of the team.

We require someone with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy as this role includes working with payroll. You will have exceptional organisational skills and outstanding communication both written and verbal. You will need the confidence to speak up balanced with the diplomacy and interpersonal skills to grow and maintain effective relationships across the business.

You will also:

  • respond to HR queries as appropriate
  • deliver monthly reporting on time
  • supply information to management and employees as required
  • liaise closely with Payroll
  • support the HR team (and in particular the Recruitment Advisor) as required.

You will need:

  • a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and tact
  • good team working skills
  • excellent troubleshooting skills with intermediate to advanced level knowledge with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • a conscientious approach to work which ensures tasks get closed off
  • good organisational, time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure to meet changing priorities and firm deadlines.
