My client based in Auckland's CBD, is a well-established, investment Company. An exciting opportunity presents itself for a bright, switched on Office Assistant to support their accounting and administration function.
As this is a small team, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties. These will range from basic administration duties, e.g.reception duties, mail, filing, administration and accounting duties. As you become more familiar with the way the company operates and demonstrate your competence, you will be given more complex and challenging duties. We are particularly looking for someone who has the ability and desire to rise to new challenges and responsibilities as the role develops.
You will need to have an extremely good phone manner, with polite and confident communication and top notch personal presentation. You will be technology adept, with confident MS Office suite skills and the enthusiasm to continue to up skill. We are seeking someone who is flexible and can adapt quickly to a busy workplace, with a proactive and self-motivated approach to work - INITIATIVE will be your middle name.

We envisage this role being suitable for someone who has cut their teeth in an office environment and seeking the next step in their administration/ accounting career, or possibly you could be a recent graduate looking for your first career role. A tertiary qualification will be looked on favourably.
This role will be offered initially as a 6 month temporary contract that has great potential of becoming permanent.
