What does the role involve?

As a Hilti Centre Manager, you'll look after our Auckland, Wellington, Queenstown, Christchurch and regional retail sites. It's a busy, hands-on role, where you will have 6 team members across the country and numerous sites to look after. As a Hilti Centre Manager, you will be accountable for planning, developing and maintaining the profitable operation of the Hilti Stores throughout New Zealand. You will be responsible for the development and coaching of your team members, ensuring that they are given the resources and opportunities that they need to succeed and grow at Hilti.

What you need is:

  • University degree strongly preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years retail management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated financial management, merchandising, analytical, planning skill
  • Ability to gather appropriate information and analyze it to develop & implement effective strategies
  • Experience in similar industry would be beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to travel around New Zealand frequently
