This programme provides students with knowledge of office administration and computing. The qualification will prepare students for:

  • Higher level studies in the business and computing environment

  • Entry level employment in reception duties, clerical assistance, customer service, word processing, data entry, office support.


Content

Graduates of the programme will be able to demonstrate skills at employment entry level in:

  • Computing, including Management and Protection of Data, Word Processing and Spreadsheets

  • Business Administration

  • Communication within a business environment.

Admission information

  • Applicants must be 16 years of age or older by the commencement date of the course or have Ministry of Education approval to enrol.

  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate evidence of suitability based on interview and/or portfolio.

  • Applicants for whom English is not their first language require a minimum IELTS of 5.5, or equivalent.
