Take Off - Certificate in International Travel Consultancy + Cabin Crew Extension is a 41 week course that give you an understanding of the NZ tourism industry, domestic and international destination knowledge, product knowledge, geography, ticketing, obtaining passport and visa's, foreign exchange and current legislation.

During the course there is a focus on:

- Communication, customer service and sales which is essential in the tourism industry.

- Technology: office equipment, Microsoft word processing, email and internet, PowerPoint and Excel and the Amadeus computer reservation booking system

-Personal Development and Industry preparation. Working as part of a team, how to manage your time and stress, and planning your career. Job application, personal presentation, CV writing, interview skills, regular industry interaction, site visits and field trips.

- Two week cabin crew extension. Gain essential cabin crew knowledge in 18 areas, your first aid certificate, and a work book with a range of information to help you apply for flight attending positions.

At the end of the Take Off course you will gain:

- NZQA National Certificate in Tourism and Travel Core Skills Level 3

- National Certificate in Travel L3

- National Certificate in Travel L4

- Going Places Certificate

- Amadeus CRS Certificate

- IATA International Airfares (and an Optional IATA International Diploma)

- First Aid Certification

- Cabin Crew International Diploma
