NZIM Diploma in ManagementA national qualification that provides the knowledge and practical skills relevant to a wide range of employment opportunities in management. What will the programme cover? The NZIM Diploma in Management is a national qualification which comprises 6 papers. Successful study at Aoraki Polytechnic will lead to a NZQA approved Level 5 qualification issued by the New Zealand Institute of Management. The programme is based on a selection of New Zealand Diploma in Business (NZ Dip Bus) papers and may be studied full-time over one year or part-time over an unspecified time. Each paper involves four hours of tuition (2 x 2-hour classes) per week over a period of 17 weeks. There are voluntary tutorials each week. Employment options This qualification provides opportunities across all sectors of business including employment as a: • Retail manager • Tourism operator • Human resources manager or you could start your own business.
