We are looking for people to join our Verification Section team based at the Police Infringement Bureau in upper Cuba Street, Wellington City.

As a PIB Administration Officer you will be responsible for entering information into the Police Infringement Bureau Information System computer (PIBIS), and other related computer systems. You will also analyse Speed Camera photographs and identify possible driver and vehicle offences.

You will have excellent keyboard skills to at least 50 words per minute. Note: Applicants who can not initially attain at least 45 words per minute with the ability to improve to 50 wpm will not be considered for this position as data entry is the primary function.

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word are required in these positions together with the ability to learn in-house Police systems. Appointees to these positions are inter-changeable with other sections within the PIB.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a security clearance prior to any offer of employment being made.
